Workshop Procedure

Each workshop is individually designed by the instructor, giving it its own unique character. As a rule, the first day begins with an introduction to techniques and materials. In this process, you will learn fundamental steps and develop a feel for the craft.

On the following days, you will have the opportunity to apply what you have learned directly. You will deepen your skills by working on your own projects or practice pieces. The workshop leader will guide you, be available for questions, and provide support wherever you need help.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the workshop taking place?

Our jewelry workshop is located in the Aufbau Haus at Moritzplatz in Berlin Kreuzberg. You can reach us via the following entrances. Please check our opening hours in advance or coordinate with your course or workshop instructor:

Main entrance Modulor, 1st floor | Prinzenstraße 85 | 10969 Berlin

If you are coming through the main Modulor entrance at Prinzenstraße 85, please note the opening hours from Monday to Saturday between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Take the first staircase to the 1st floor and walk past the furniture, crafts, and picture frame departments. Then keep left towards the art supplies and fabrics, or right next to the furniture store, minimum.

Prinzenhof, Entrance F1 | Prinzenstraße 85 | 10969 Berlin

On Sundays or outside of Modulor's opening hours, you can use entrance F1 via the Prinzenhof. Please coordinate this with your course or workshop instructor in advance, as this entrance is sometimes locked.

Are the materials included in the workshop?

Material costs are not included in the workshop. However, you are welcome to bring your own silver, gold, bronze, or copper if you wish.

Materials are billed on-site based on actual consumption. The material price is determined by the daily rate due to significant fluctuations.

Further information can be found in the description of the respective workshop.

What if I am unable to attend through no fault of my own?

If you are unable to attend the workshop, you will unfortunately forfeit your claim to a refund. However, you have the option to take out seminar insurance that covers such cases.

We do not offer cancellation insurance ourselves, but you can protect yourself through the HanseMerkur seminar insurance. It protects you against high cancellation costs, reimburses any hotel or seminar fees already paid if necessary, and requires no deductible.

This keeps you flexible in case you are unable to attend the workshop on short notice. You can find all the details at HanseMerkur Seminarversicherung.

Will I receive a certificate for the workshop?

Yes, you will receive a certificate for the workshop that confirms your participation and the techniques learned. If you do not receive a certificate on the last day, please write to us directly at mail@coopgold.com and ask for it.

Can I cancel the workshop?

You may cancel booked workshops or courses up to 4 weeks before the scheduled date. In this case, the course fee already paid will be refunded minus a processing fee of 25%.

If the cancellation occurs less than 4 weeks before the date, a refund of the course fee is only possible if you provide a substitute participant who takes your place. In this case, the course fee will be transferred to the substitute participant under the same conditions.

Should a workshop or course be unable to take place on the part of coopgold, for example due to an insufficient number of participants or unforeseeable circumstances, the full course fee will be refunded. No further claims exist in this case.

Cancellation must be made in writing via email to mail@coopgold.de. The time of receipt of your cancellation notice is decisive for meeting the deadline. The 25% processing fee is charged by coopgold to cover the organizational effort involved in the cancellation.

Can I be put on a waiting list?

If there are currently no spots available, you are still welcome to contact us via email at mail@coopgold.de to be added to our waiting list. However, as we receive a very high volume of inquiries regarding our courses, we will increasingly communicate information about available spots, additional dates, and new course offerings via our newsletter in the future. This ensures that all interested parties receive the information at the same time and have equal opportunities to secure a spot.
