In our wedding ring workshops, you will create your own personal wedding rings. You can choose between two course formats — a forging workshop, where you forge your rings in the traditional way, and a sand casting workshop, which focuses on working with wax models and subsequent casting.
The workshop is offered exclusively for two people and includes an initial consultation at the Schmuck Fritz gallery. During this session, we will determine the ring profile, the alloy, and other design details individually.
We will then calculate the precious metal price, which is determined daily due to significant market fluctuations. Based on this, we will order the necessary materials within 24 hours. The corresponding amount must be paid in full within this period.

The workshop itself lasts about five hours and takes place in our jewelry workshop at the Aufbau Haus. No prior craft experience is required — just an interest in craftsmanship and the desire to create something of your own.

Every step is clearly explained and carried out together, ensuring you can work in a structured way and hold your own handmade wedding rings in your hands at the end.

Our wedding ring workshops generally take place on weekends — usually Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and flexibly on Sundays starting at 10 a.m. We will coordinate the exact time with you during the consultation.
How much do the materials cost?
The material prices for your wedding rings can fluctuate significantly and depend on the material you choose—gold, silver, platinum, or other alloys have varying costs. The exact prices will therefore be calculated for you in advance, ensuring you have full transparency regarding your selection.
Can the appointment be rescheduled?
If you are sick or feel unwell on the day of your course, that is not a problem at all. In that case, we will simply reschedule your wedding ring workshop to the next available date.
How creative can you get with wedding rings?
We will discuss how creative you can get with your wedding rings in person during your consultation. Together, we will look at what you have in mind and what is technically feasible.
Stones can also be set upon request, but how elaborate the final design turns out to be naturally depends on your experience and craftsmanship.
What happens if mistakes occur?
Don't worry — mistakes are completely normal during the wedding ring workshop and are part of the experience. You will be professionally guided throughout the entire process, and we will help you correct any irregularities.
